Best Fruit For Eyes – Best Fruit To Improve Eyesight

Benefits of Amla for Eye Health

Hi, this is Dr. Vivek, and in this video, I’m going to share with you the name of a fruit that is very beneficial for our eyes. Start consuming this fruit, and you may see improvements in your eyesight and other eye-related issues. Additionally, I will share a home remedy that can help with eye issues.

The Best Fruit for Eye Health

Holistic Medical Science recommends Amla, also known as Indian Gooseberry, as the best fruit for eye health. In Ayurveda, this fruit is described as “Chaksushim,” which means a fruit that is very good for the eyes. Amla can help with various eye-related issues, such as dry eyes, itching in the eyes, and problems with vision, including short-sightedness or long-sightedness. It is particularly useful for those who spend a lot of time on screens, as screen time has increased dramatically in modern life.

If you want to strengthen your eye muscles and prevent issues like cataracts, start consuming Amla. It’s available worldwide in the form of tablets, powder, or juice. I recommend using the powder, but if you’re not comfortable with powder, then juice is a good alternative.

How to Consume Amla

At night, take two to three grams of Amla powder, add five grams of honey, and one gram of ghee (clarified butter). Mix them all together and consume it. This mixture not only helps with your eyesight but also improves digestion. You can take this throughout the year without any negative effects. Amla is rich in vitamin C—almost 20 times more than oranges. It is filled with antioxidants, which benefit your entire body, not just your eyes.

If you prefer Amla in juice form, take 10 milliliters of Amla juice and 10 milliliters of Aloe Vera juice. Mix them with a little water and drink it. This can be consumed in the morning or evening. However, the powder-honey-ghee mixture should be taken only at night, about an hour before sleep.

Home Remedy for Dry Eyes

Now, let’s talk about the second home remedy I mentioned at the beginning of this video. This remedy uses a herb called Shatavari. You might have heard that Shatavari is only for women because of its benefits for the uterus, but it has many other functions, including helping with dry eyes.

To use Shatavari, take half a teaspoon of Shatavari powder and add one to two teaspoons of ghee (clarified butter). Mix them together and consume it at night, about an hour before sleep. If you’re suffering from dry eyes and are also a female with menstrual issues, Shatavari can be a good option. Otherwise, for males or females with no menstrual issues but weak eyes, Amla powder is a suitable choice.

Conclusion

I hope this video will be helpful for you. See you in the next video with a big smile! Eat right, sleep on time, and believe in Ayurveda—it could change your life. Smile more, stay happy, and stay healthy!
